    1. Reread December 2017Original review June 2017It's no secret I'm a fan of Dabney's. I have read and loved all her MM series. I have to admit though, that the first 50% of this book, I wasn't sure where it was going to go. I was a little leery as to how all this would work out between Linus, Wren and Hunter. It was obvious Linus had been harboring some hidden feelings for Hunter. Well, hidden to Hunter at least. Everyone else knew he wanted the quiet, accident prone, fuzzy bear. Then Wren steps in [...]

    2. 3.5 stars!! While I liked this story and each character in it, there was something missing for me. I think I liked Linus and Wren together more than Hunter with either one of them. I still love this author's books and I'm looking forward to Harper's story.

    3. Got to say I'm enjoying this series more and more - I think it's one where you get to know the characters a little more in each book. This was Hunters story, the shy, vulnerable and painfully clumsy young guy with self esteem at zero. He kept himself almost invisible although the Brawlers made every effort to break through this shield and show him love. Wren the local deputy had his eye on Hunter for a while and finally plucked up the courage to ask him out on a date. Meanwhile Linus, who had pi [...]

    4. Wasn't sure how I was going to like this one. I'm not a fan of menage, reads. In saying that I loved Psycho, Tank and Elijah, and also Hunter, so I wanted to seehim have some happy. So, in this one Hunter gets asked out by the cop that's been sitting outside Brawlers for the last year He's insecure and has low self-esteem, which is understandable when you hear about all the guys who put him down because of one thing or another, his body type or how fuzzy he is. I think that'd be cute. Anyway, Wre [...]

    5. I think this one is my least favourite book in both series could have been soooo good but I felt as if there was zero relationship development. and nearly no explanations of Hunters background. Hunter was the least mentioned character or at least we did not see a lot from his POVa shame I really had high hopes

    6. It becomes so unreal when all characters are the same and it's not just a few, but I think there are about 30 people now! We may get a slightly different background for each of the them, but their personalities are almost the same. It's sex, sex and sex and they all like the same thing and it's almost all they're talking about and the new characters coming into the group they just have to jump in with both feet, it's the same throughout the whole series. A bit too boring for me when you can pred [...]

    7. I am a huge J.M Dabney fan. No secret there! I've read all her books from her Twirled World Ink books all the way over to her Brawlers books. I will read long after this one too. I know people say you can read these as standalones, and while I sort of agree with that, I encourage you to read this in order. Each book deals with a new couple, or throuple. But the secondary characters are important. We see them throughout both series and they add something to the story. So while you can grab Hunter [...]

    8. A big thank you to the author for all their help with this book. I had an from hell day. Now the book, I loved it. The final book in Brawlers series tied up all the loose end and set up the next spinoff series perfectly.Linus Wren and Hunter were so different I didn't think it would work, it did, they make a fantastic team. Looking forward to the next series.

    9. Generally not a fan of M/M/M erotica coz it’s hard to keep track of who’s doing who but I liked this book. Had some angst and I liked how they all got together.

    10. I hate giving bad reviews but in this case I am compelled. This book is a shitacular mess, I couldn't even get half way through it. It's all too much=too many people, too many things going on in each scene, too many plot lines going on at once. My biggest gripe is with the three main characters: 1. There's so little info given about the characters, you don't even have the slightest chance of getting to know them. Maybe a sentence or two of background and that's it. They're just shallow empty ste [...]

    11. This series is my guilty pleasure. Liked this one, didn't love it as much as the others. There were so many people in this book, OMG! The Brawlers, plus two other crews getting mentioned intermittently. This book features a menage relationship, and more than half the time I didn't know which of the three men was speaking at first. The relationship was just ok. It just kind of came out of nowhere, and they kept winging it. Hunter felt teenager-ish. It was mentioned early on how old he is, but the [...]

    12. Ok, so first up I enjoyed the book as I'm actually quite capable of forgetting things in certain type of stories as in I'm able to read in an almost superficial type of way that let's everything go, only I couldn't as it's been a few days and theses issues are still to centered in my mind so. it's not my fav of the books, I felt the relationship at the beginning was a bit sloppy and very 'well it's happening because I said so so why not without anyone's real input or reason why there was a both [...]

    13. I loved this book, but I think that was a little in part due to the fact that I love the Brawlers World, JM Dabney's writing and just this motley crew of men in general. I loved each of the three main characters individually, having met or seen hints of them in previous books, but the coming together of them as a threesome happened a bit too quick for me and it felt that the concerns and worries that someone would have in suddenly deciding to enter a three way relationship were glossed over. But, [...]

    14. 3.5 Stars ~ It feels as if I've been waiting for Hunter’s story ever since I started the series. He's an anomaly among the Brawlers crew. He's big, but that's mostly his genetics, he's hairy, but he hates that, he's not a fighter, and he's smarter than all of them put together. He spent five years in prison even though he only hacked the systems, he had nothing to do with all the jewels that got stolen. And he's the clumsiest human being I've ever seen. Basically, all of that had me eager to s [...]

    15. Man! Hunter is a mess! He’s the world’s biggest clutz and his self esteem is super low. He wants Wren but thinks he’s not good enough and he’s worried about bringing bad things into Wren’s life.I thought it was hysterical when the relatively straight-laced Wren gets forced into the madness that is the Brawler’s house and the non-stop nearly always visible/audible sex-o-rama!Just as with the others in the series, we have a somewhat broken MC who meets someone with his own baggage and [...]

    16. 4.5 out of 5 starsDescription ~Welcome to Brawlers Bar… If there was a way to destroy his life, Hunter Black could do it. He was a catastrophe waiting to happen. Survival was his only priority and having to leave his old life behind that meant a job of the legal variety. He’d found one as a bartender at Brawlers Bar and a safe place in a huge house with the rest of the bar crew who quickly became the family he’d never had. The one thing Hunter didn’t need was his old life tracking him do [...]

    17. When I saw the title of the series I should've been clued in to what these stories are about. The Brawlers Bar and the group of people living and working around it are exactly that; noisy and disorderly. This where we find Hunter who has been taken in by Bull and the gang and now works at Brawlers after a stint in prison. Hunter is a tall bear of a man but he is also a gentle soul. He lacks self-confidence and doesn't think much of himself. So you can imagine his surprise when he find that Linus ( [...]

    19. REVIEWED FOR LOVE BYTESWe’re back with the Brawlers gang and our shy and mysterious Hunter has managed to snag the attention of not one but two possessive men.Hunter is a character that has been hanging around in the background but who we never really got to know. Keeping his reactions hidden behind his hair he is shy and nervous and very aware that he is a klutz – anything that can go wrong for him does go wrong. He has a past he isn’t particularly proud of and the last thing he wants is [...]

    20. I was super hesitant to go into this story, even though I've bought every single book in the Twirled World Ink series and the Brawlers without pause, I actually considered not reading this one, at least for a little while and started a new book from a different author. However, that book didn't work out and I realised that Although this authors work has endless faults, I really enjoy the stories about these guys and just needed to continue on. I'm on the fence about ménage, this is the second m [...]

    21. OkayI did enjoy this book but I had to give it three stars because the amount of errors was insane and the relationship development between all three characters felt seriously rushed and incomplete. Hunter is dating Wren, Linus gets shot and when Hunter and Wren go to see him Wren just starts making out with Linuske wtf? I had to flip backwards just to make sure I didn't accidentally skip a whole chapter cuz I'm pretty dang sure that up until that point Linus and Wren hadn't said more than a han [...]

    22. So, I started the Brawlers series and haven't read the Twirled series, (which I will be doing pretty soon.) I actually think it would help if the Twirled series and the first three books of the Brawler series was read first. Just my opinion. But in Hunter we have well Hunter Black, Wren Gramble, and Linus Trenton who all get in a relationship. I don't know where Linus came in the previous books because like I said I only read the Brawlers series, but it is established that Linus likes Hunter, but [...]

    23. A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words ReviewFor the full review visit wp/p220KL-bRKFrom that review: " Hunter (Brawlers #4) by J.M. Dabney surprised me in many ways.  For me it seemed to hold  the least amount of angst that i've come to expect of the Dabney men and the Brawlers series.  Hunter is quiet to the point of utter silence, he's so clumsy that he often poses a danger to himself and others, shy with a self esteem that seems to exist at basement level.  He's bearish with long hair (how [...]

    24. This series was so awesome. I really does just keep getting better and better. It's so hard to have a favourite couple because they are all so good but Hunter, Wren and Linus will make the favourite list. It feels like I've been waiting forever for Hunters book but it was worth the wait. Loved the story, Loved all 3 of them being together, loved what happened at the end *hehehe*I'm sad to see this series end but I saw there is a new series coming about about the band members of the Executioners! [...]

    25. OMG what's not to love about Hunter, he's cute, sweet and cuddly yet probably the most accident prone person you will meet (although not all accidents are his fault). This was another great read by J. M. Dabney. In this book we are reintroduced to Linus Trenton (Lucky's more serious brother) and Wren Gramble (the newish Deputy in town). In this book we see a M/M/M relationship developing full of typical angst of self esteem and worth, jealousies and misunderstandings as well as some nasty and big [...]

    26. It was Good but not my Fav of the series. It was not my Favorite out of the Brawlers/Twirled World Books. But it was still good. I would definitely recommend reading the other books first in order or you might be a little lost. I think A bunch of new characters from the upcoming series were introduced in this book (because I had no idea who some of the people mentioned were) but it felt kind of rushed and a little confusing on who is who. We will see how the next spin-off series goes. I will be r [...]

    27. Another awesome book in the sequel.Another can't put it down book for the series. Small town living isn't all its cracked up to be in this latest book about the men in Powers, a bad sheriff and a bikerdoesn't match on a normal day but now with a bad police head it's even worse. It's fun watching how they handle each other though. Another well written book. And well worth the money spent. Get it you'll love it to.

    28. ╰⊰⊹ 🌟⊹⊱╮3.5 stars╰⊰⊹ 🌟⊹⊱╮Hunter was described as a catastrophe waiting to happen. The man would trip over air, and nothing was off limit. His friends at Brawlers teased him often because of this. Disaster had nothing on him. As the youngest member of the Brawlers crew, Hunter was a man with a past and a parole officer. But now that he had found a new home and a family, he was trying to live as honestly as possible. Linus had a thing for Hunter, he just never spoke a [...]
