    1. I kept living in hope it would get better but by 80% decided I wasn't up for it.Not a bad tale but requires a discerning overhaul.

    2. Guardian of Fate is such a breath of fresh air, it has such a different storyline than everything out there at the minute. It is beautifully written and I fell in love with the characters quite early on. There is a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout which kept me on the edge of my seat.Cassandra (Cassie) is a Guardian of Fate, she gets visions of mortals that are in danger from the Demons of hell. It's her responsibility to change their fate and keep them alive. Cassie has been doing thi [...]

    3. This book reached out and grabbed me from the opening pages and never let go. I read it in two sittings. Surprising, because overall I tend to favor third person POV when I read a book. It could be the voice of the central character, Cassandra Cosgrove, a 'Guardian of Fate' who finds it her responsibility to save souls from Hell, or it could be the author's high-octane flow for the story that made it hard to put down. Either way, the pacing was fast and the characters intriguing, especially the [...]

    4. I won Guardian of Fate as a first-reads. thank you again.I really enjoyed reading this book. It's well written, you don't really know who to thrust. When you think you know who's the good guy and who's the bad, you realise you were wrong, and it's a really good thing to be surprise like that. Those I thought I would hate ended up being the ones I loved the most by the end of the book. I will be looking forward to reading the 2nd book and see what happen next.

    5. WowI loved this book. It is so different from anything I have read. I loved the characters.cially Hunter lol. This book threw me for a loop. Just when I thought I knew what was going on something completely different would happen. I loved that the author kept me on my toes. This is one of my must read again books since I loved it so much. Can't wait for the next one.

    6. I loved it! The Characters are interesting and diverse. Cassandra is the kind of heroine that I love to read about! She is a strong lady who cares about those around her and does what she can to help them, no matter the personal cost. If you are looking for a new adult series, this is it!

    7. Get ready for a book that will pull you into an emotional tug of war! Cassandra is a Guardian of Fate which basically is someone who sees innocent people succumb to Demon persuasion and end their life or the life of others. Cassandra's job is to save those innocent people. After getting a vision Cassie high tails it to the location to save an innocent person but what happens is not what she expects. For some reason her vision was wrong and that never happens. While trying to figure out what went [...]

    8. Book provided at no cost in exchange for an honest review.Cassie belongs to the family business - a Guardian of Fate. The job of the Guardian of Fate is to prevent the innocent deaths of people whose souls Hell had targeted. (L.J. Kentowski, 2011, Pg. 7). When Cassie turned 16 she began having visions that alerted her to the impending wrongful deaths of people around her. As a Guardian of Fate, it was her responsibility to interpret those visions, find the place and people involved, and prevent [...]

    9. My Review:B- ratingThis is definitely one of those books where you spend a lot of the book trying to figure out what the heck is going on and who exactly is the good guy and who is the bad guy. That alone kept me reading this book for a long time.I couldn't figure out what was going on and was definitely intrigued. On her 16th birthday, Cassie found out that she's a Guardian of Fate. She can see when people are about to wrongly die and can change that fate. But suddenly her visions are changing a [...]

    10. About the book:Cassandra is just your normal average girl who goes to college and lives with her best friend. That is, if think a girl having visions of people's premature death at the hands of shadow demons to be normal. Cassie, as she's called by her friends, is a Guardian of Fate. She uses her visions to help find these people and prevent them from meeting an untimely death that is manipulated by demons. Sounds simple, right? Not really. Add into the mix two very sexy men who seem as differen [...]

    11. In her premiere novel, Kentowski delivers a thrilling joyride, dropping us in the middle of the millennia old battle between good and evil. Her creation of strong yet mysterious characters, lends credence to her detailed work on this novel. Kentowski guides us through the fictional world with a skillful hand, keeping the story anchored to reality but also taking us beyond the limitation of our own minds. The story is meaty and character driven, full of angst, regret, passion, and suspense. The a [...]

    12. An imaginative tale, intriguing characters, romance, heaven, hell, good and evil. 13. I was luckily enough to win a print copy of this book in a contest. It's cover is gorgeous and totally grabbed my attention. The beginning of the book was a bit hard to follow and was a little to overly descriptive about some of it's details. But once you get a few chapters in it started to flow as you start finding out a more about the major characters, and I have to say LJ kept me guessing. Every time I thought I had what was going on figured out she threw me for a loop all the way through to [...]

    14. L.J. Kentowski did a fabulous job writing this book. It was an absolutely great read and different from most of the things I have read, which was very refreshing. When I would think I had things figured out they would change, which lead me to keep reading to see were things were now going. Those I thought I would hate ended up being the ones I loved the most by the end of the book. I really liked Cassie, as I thought she handled things well as they unraveled but wish she would have used the stre [...]

    15. Guardian of Fate had me hooked within the first few lines. The steady pace of the novel kept me turning pages, and the ending left me right where it should: anxious for the second in the series. Demons and seekers, guardians and angels, heaven and hell - this urban fantasy explores places beyond this world with ease and finesse. Great read. Seekers of Fate - here I come. *The romance is intense; those seeking clean romance may want to do a bit of skimming.*

    16. If you read fantasy to discover new and exciting realities, you'll love Guardian of Fate. If you read fantasy to read heart stopping romantic encounters, you'll love Guardian of Fate. If you read fantasy to participate, however vicariously, in the battle of good against evil, you'll love the adventure. Whatever your preference, you'll never regret meeting Cassie as she seeks to learn just how complication life can be even for a Guardian!

    17. This book was absolutely Ah-Mah-Zing! I loved every second of it!! So can't wait for the next book in the series! Full Review Coming Soon!

    18. Cassandra is a Guardian, her job is to save human souls. 19. Imagine trying to go to school and work and live a normal life, when at a moment's notice (or vision's notice) you have to drop everything and run off to save a complete stranger. That is the life of Cassandra ever since she she was 16 and found out she was a Guardian. Demons roam the earth, causing innocent victims to die in horrible accidents and sending their souls to be enslaved in Hell. Guardians have visions of the accidents just before they happen, allowing them the chance to save the vic [...]

    20. Book SynopsisFear of death is all too common. Visions of it chill the bones and skip heartbeats. Seeing it coming and knowing only you can rescue the soul of the victim from the fiery bowels of hell…that’s downright life-altering.Cassandra Cosgrove’s life was altered at the age of sixteen when she found out that it was her responsibility to save the lives, and ultimately the souls, of innocent victims targeted by Hell’s demons. As impossible as it seemed at first, she was able to live a [...]

    21. This is the first book in a series of 3 (the other two have not yet been released) of L.J. Kentowski’s Fate series. This book was a very strong, excellent start that paranormal romance and fantasy romance readers will find intriguing. Excitement, seduction, suspense and two extremely hot and definitely mysterious men are only some examples of what readers have to look forward to. L.J.’s creativity and writing skills are very impressive and will leaving you craving for more of what Fate is to [...]

    22. In LJ Kentowski's freshman effort she introduces us to Cassandra Cosgrove, a 20 something young woman with a very unusual calling. You see, on top of living on her own (with a room mate), working a full time job and going to school, she'd also inherited the ability to see someone die before it happened. In these dreams were clues to help her prevent premature deaths. Unfortunately, it was through tragedy that she learned about her gift. Pretty quickly into the book, Cassie notices a change in he [...]

    23. The beginning of this book scared me a little bit. For a small fraction of time, it started to read like Twilight. I am not saying that is a bad thing, but an authors worst fear is that their book will resemble another's too closely. After a short time though, this book was pleasantly surprising. The author tells a story of a woman (Cassandra) who has two men come into her life by what seems like coincidence. It doesn't take very long to realize that is completely not true. The two men have impl [...]

    24. Since the age of 16 Cassie has been trying to save all the strangers she can as she is a Guardian. The Guardian's have visions of accidents the demons cause to kill people and send their souls to HELL. Now the tables have turned and they want Cassie. She can't trust anyone, her mom has secrets, her roommate even have her own agenda and has secrets. Everyone is keeping something from her. Two men come around Caleb and Hunter who would like to have her and they even have secrets. Everyone wants to [...]

    25. This book was a phenomenal start to a series. I can really see a lot of promise in the books that will come after this one. The characters of Cassandra, Caleb and Hunter were all well illustrated and excellently formed. Ms. Kentowski’s writing was very fluid and was so good you don’t realize your done the book till your reach her cliff hanger of an ending. As an avid paranormal romance reader I read a lot of similar books. What really stood out for me with this book was the interactions betw [...]

    26. Guardians of Fate is a seriously addicting page-turner of a story and should not be overlooked! The story is exciting, the characters are witty and charming and let's not forget down right sexy! GOF will keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting with anticipation to see what happens next. The building tension and romance that ensues from Cassandra and another extremely HOT man (that shall remain nameless) will leave you breathless and wanting more (if I could bring him home and keep him for myse [...]

    27. I am so lucky to have received a signed copy from Laura. this book is amazing!!! I finished it about a week ago and finally got to review it. this book had me hooked from the first few pages. The story line will keep you wondering what will happen next. This is one of those rare books that I become obsessed with reading. when I'm not reading it, I'm thinking of reading it. one of my favorite things is this book has a great balance between story and sexy. some books have so much sex it doesn't ha [...]

    28. This was a good read with a lot of twists and turns. The premise of a Guardian of Fate, someone that can actually protect you from an untimely death, is very clever. I craved more of the storyline of the Guardian's actual job. To hear some more heartfelt stories of how Cassandra saves innocent people. I have a feeling there will be a second book and I hope to read more about Cassandra, Hunter and Caleb. Beware that there is some sex in this book and it made me blush! At first I would have pegged [...]

    29. Decent little urban fantasy with two hot demons fighting over a girl with her own supernatural issues. The love scenes nicely written and there was enough to the story that I look forward to the sequel.

    30. Angels vs. demons mean non stop action. When a young woman needs to learn more about what kind of power she has, she gets way more than she bargained for. Seems like the demons have an eye on her power too. And they want it. The thrill ride begins. We meet Hunter, the head demon working for the devil. Who knew these 2 would have sparks and fight their own inner demons with these feelings. I couldn't wait to get done with this book to start #2 in the series. So good!
